Special camps at polling stations across Telangana on October 15 and 16 will help eligible first-time voters and people missing from the draft electoral roll submit Form 6 applications.
HYDERABAD, October 15, 2026 — Election authorities in Telangana are holding special voter-enrolment camps at polling stations on October 15 and 16 to help eligible citizens whose names are missing from the draft electoral roll apply for inclusion.
Who can apply?
The camps are intended especially for first-time and young voters, as well as eligible electors who were left out of the draft roll. Applicants can submit Form 6, the application used to seek enrolment as a voter. Booth-level officers are expected to be available to assist people with the process.
The Election Commission’s instructions were reported by The New Indian Express and Telangana Today on October 13–14. District election officers and collectors were asked to arrange the camps at polling stations across the state.
What residents should do
- Visit the designated polling station during the camp on October 15 or 16.
- Ask the booth-level officer about the Form 6 application and the supporting documents required.
- Check the draft electoral roll and confirm whether the name is already listed before applying.
- Keep any application acknowledgement and follow up with the relevant electoral registration officer.
Submitting Form 6 does not automatically guarantee enrolment; applications must be checked and processed under the applicable election rules. Reports say the final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on November 9, 2026.
